Soul Bites is hands down one of the best Mexican–Korean fusion spots in Chicago. The food is next-level—bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best taste I’ve had in the city. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was warm, humble, and genuinely kind, making the whole experience feel welcoming and effortless. Customer service here is clearly a priority, and it shows. Overall, Soul Bite sets the bar high in both quality and hospitality. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. I’d confidently recommend it to all my family and friends. Big kudos to the entire team—keep doing what you’re doing. ????????

We ordered the Korean fried rice, Korean chicken wings and dolsot bibimbap - every item was delicious and arrived at our table in about ten minutes. The wings were piping hot, flavorful and crunchy. The bibimbap arrived sizzling in a stone bowl - the rice stayed warm the whole time. And the beef in the fried rice had unique Korean spices. The atmosphere was also serene. Serving size is huge - two people can share one dish. A large service charge added to bill.

Great taste, the food is truly on another level. The short ribs were incredible: fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. The veggie noodles came with an unexpected mayo-style sauce that actually worked really well with the dish. Everything is halal, which is a big plus. The atmosphere was thoughtfully designed. the green and wood tones really complement the space and give it a modern yet cozy vibe. The only drawback was the mandatory gratuity added to the receipt. It doesn’t quite make sense when you’re ordering on your own and handling many of the tasks typically done by a server. I can see that being a downside for some especially since it’s a bit pricey per dish. That said, it’s hard to find food like this. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing family with me!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. It was our first visit and I was excited about trying Korean cuisine. We ordered the Korean wings, and the beef and chicken Ramen. The wings were amazing. The sauce was savory and the crust, texture of the chicken and the flavor was perfect. They were the best wings that I've every tasted in the history of wings. The Ramen was spicy and robust with flavor and gave me a chance to operate the chop sticks. The atmosphere was lively and the servers were courteous enough.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I’m glad I got to check it out. The banchans were really good and fresh. I tried two of their appetizers and loved them as well - the Korroke was hot and crispy and the vegetable dumplings were yummy as well. The Kalbi was tender and had a lot of flavor to it as well. I’m glad I tried it out and am excited to try more things in the future. Personally I didn’t like the milk tea - it was too sweet with no visible option to change the sweetness level and it just didn’t taste good to me. There’s lots of searing options and the restaurant is set up kinda like a self serve place. There’s things available like sauce, extra plates/utensils for people to use and they will all bring you your food like a traditional sit down restaurant does.

Seol Bite is quickly becoming one of the best spots in the suburbs, adding a true Korean bite to the growing food scene. The food is amazing, and the staff goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. The place is clean, neat, and has a cozy environment with unique décor that makes you want to come back. The ramen was perfectly balanced with soft noodles, and the marinated ribs were the clear winner of the night. Overall, the portions were just right, the flavors on point, and it’s definitely worth the money—not overpriced at all.

I don’t usually leave reviews unless the food is really good and wow, the food here is OVERWHELMINGLY good. I normally eat alone and just scroll on my phone, but when I’m here, I seriously enjoy every bite. I don’t even touch my phone the whole meal. The Korean fried wings are crazy good. Super crispy on the outside with flavorful sauce, but the inside is what gets me. The meat inside is insanely flavorful and seasoned so well. And the kimchi stews? Fire. A little spicy, but totally doable. Will probably be coming back here forever. Definitely one of the best Korean spots I’ve been to.
